Hi blog,
My biggest fear has come true: I became too busy to upkeep with this site. Or, have I simply not made it a priority? I used to go to class and work on this blog, COMPLETELY ignoring my professors. Probably not the best idea. My new resolution is to incorporate one change on my site everyday, whether that be new blogs or updating the code/layout. In the meantime, I will be providing another life update.
1. I earned a scholarship! I think it’s from some important organization within my school because when I mentioned it to someone, they had a very impressed look on their face. I’ve never heard of it before. The odd thing about this scholarship is that we had to attend a dinner with the commitee and other candidiates BEFORE we were selected. There were three other candidiates but the website said there would be 6 total…. So if I didn’t get the scholarship that would have been lowkey embarrasing. I felt sort of fradulent because one of the committee members asked what I like to do in my freetime and I said this blog, knowing I hadn’t given it much attention (But that will change for the future!)
2. I got a promotion at work!! Promotion doesn’t even feel like the right word for this, but I guess its the technical definition. I basically go from being a science TA for fourth graders to being a coordinator for my other coworkers. Essentially, more pay and more responsibility. Yay!
3. I finished my last midterm of junior year last week… what the hell
4. I have a secret photography account….for my eyes only. Now I have two secrets from my friends (if you include this blog of course)! My mom got me this camera for Christmas and a few months ago, I played with the settings and found what I really like. I’ve been really liking photography recently and decided this page will be where I document this journey! I kind of wanted to take a photography class but I think it doesn’t fit or something like that. I may just start watching youtube videos. Is it crazy to take notes? Nah
